Activesync Died (Was Flakier Than Usual)

OK, finally this POS just stopped working. I restored some Sprite back-ups and still no go. I restarted the machine. I checked services are running. I removed the partnership. This is just about the only reason I use a Windows phone... I am about ready to go Droid.

What I get is a spinning WMDC and then a Red X'ed Error. I cannot find the logs for this. I was going to try another ROM, but I am wondering if this is not the Windows 7 implementation of WMDC and has little to do with the phone (there are many threads on this).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.... cannot synch appointments etc.

in device manager, show hidden devices, then uninstall all the usb devices. I usually just do the root hubs, but that can be tricky with kb/mouse..

that is assuming your usb cord is ok.

Re: Activesync Died (Was Flakier Than Usual)

You hit the nail on the head. It showed up as a mobile device, not USB. I have to say that if they screw this up on Windows Phone 7, it will be the end of the road for me.

This program has driven me crazy since my G1000.
