google maps doesn't update location after cleanup and tweaks cabs

any ideas? thought the cleanup cab did something to initiate data. Should i uninstall the cleanup cab ?. i alreay tried for few days, even reset the phones and restarted google latitude

the 6.5 sprint clean up cab seems to cause more problems than solutions. the 6.1 cleanup cab was awesome, but since the maker has gone MIA since right after the 6.5 sprint ROM came out, I'm guessing there won't be any fixes for it.
