Re: Real Websites instead of Mobile Versions on WM 6.5
Anybody know how to change it for Opera Mobile. I did use a .cab called "opera tweaks" when I was still on 6.1 I tried to use that on 6.5 but that cab file does not work on 6.5

Re: Real Websites instead of Mobile Versions on WM 6.5
have you tried looking in the settings by typing "opera:config" in the address window?
or what about skyfire?

What you need to do is change your User-Agent to a desktop version of the browsers. Some sites go off the user-agent.
for opera I think it is in the opera:config for IE its a regedit

Quote:
1) type in opera:config into opera's address bar 2) scroll down to "User Prefs" 3) select "custom user agent" 4) erase everything in the box 5) restart opera that always works for me. the custom user agent is what controls whether or not a website redirect you to the mobile or desktop version of a site. i had the same issues with not being able to view some desktop versions of sites and not being able to post on certain forums, ppcgeeks included. let me know if you need more help and dont forget to hit thanks if this helps you. |
