The battery doesnt drain faster, it just updates more accurately reflecting 1% changes rather than 10%.

Re: anyone have a cab to go back to 10% increment battery

no since it checks it more often than the 10% increments, it definitely drains ur battery faster. I dont have the cab on me, but look for the nuebattery cab around, and then uncheck the 1% box and ur good to go!

Re: anyone have a cab to go back to 10% increment battery

yeah, I'm not sure that battery polling every couple of minutes is gonna kill your battery that much faster.
Some of the 1% battery taskbars have settings that can be changed so it doesn't check as often. You might look into that next time.

Re: anyone have a cab to go back to 10% increment battery

I use the 1% battery but just change the polling interval in the registry. does the same thing u describe.

i dont have my device on me but i found the actual directory to the registry file somewhere in these threads...

Edit: HKLM\Drivers\Builtin\Battery\PollInterval
Change to like 40000 (it i remember correctly is 5000 normally...

yeah this could work, but to the OP, you're essentially just changing it to a number that reads the battery at the same interval a 10% meter would, just gives you a more accurate reading at the time of checking. i personally dont care. but thanks for the tip kern, i might do it some time lol
