Random freezing...

Out of no where my Sprint TP2 official 6.5 ROM phone has start running incredibly slow. When try to text in the Windows sms screen, it either doesn't let me type at all, or I can type a few letters and everything locks up, or I can type about 60 characters and the rest are invisible. If I open Bing, I type three letters in the directions location box and it locks up. What the hell happened to my phone?! I'm about to throw in the towel on this damn thing!!!

Re: Random freezing...

I had been having similar trouble with mine lately as well. Mine also would freeze up while sleeping, causing me to soft reset. It all started after going to 6.5. I called sprint to express my problems with it, hoping that they would move my upgrade date up 2 months so I could try the Evo, but they wanted to send me a new phone instead. So, they sent me a brand new TP2 (not refurb), which I was surprised about. They even told me I don't even have to send the old battery or new accesories back. The new one hasn't given me any trouble, YET. Good luck.

Re: Random freezing...

I just got the TP2 - this is my first smartphone - but I've had WM devices since 2002.

2OP - this is almost invbsriably an OS issue.

It can be as simple as cleaning the notification queue (there's a few free tools out there, just search on Google). Or, you may need to hard reset.

2buckrub58 - I am surprised they would rather send a new device than reflash the ROM. From what I read, SOD is purely a ROM issue.
