VZW TP2 Dead?
So I installed an up to date CAB of android from http://sites.google.com/site/androidport/downloads last night and went to bed and left it hooked up charging in android. Woke up this morning and the phone will not do anything when I press the power button. It has the orange charging light on, but no matter what combination I unplug it, take the battery out, whatever it will not even hint at starting up. Windows however will detect it, but still can't do anything with it.
My question is a) is there any way to get it working again?, b) since it's unlocked and has energyrom on it, what happens if I take it by VZW to try to get it replaced under warranty?, 3) am I better off sucking it up and paying the deductible for Asurion? Wirelessly posted (VZW TP2: Opera/9.80 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/5.0.3521/18.684; U; en) Presto/2.4.15)
pull the battery. android is not a replacement rom but is a side loaded os. u start in windows to boot to android. This can happen if the battery goes dead while in some of the android builds. Also u will get better coverage of topic if posted in the androd sub forum.

Re: VZW TP2 Dead?
Yeah I know about how Android runs, through Linux, through Winmo. Long story short, I'm an idiot, I guess Android did not let it recharge and it was completely discharged. I hooked it up to my car charger on the way to school and removed and replaced the batt and it came on. So now I just have to charge it. Failboat.
