Closest custom ROM to the stock Sprint MR1

Ok, I'm prepping my phone for my migration to Android by way of the EVO. Plan on giving the phone to my wife...but need to find a custom ROM that is just works. NO workarounds for picture mail, NO extra fluff that she won't use. Basically anything that is interesting to US...she won't dig. So I'm thinking a basic 6.5 custom ROM most resembles the Sprint stock 6.5 upgrade (without SoD.)

Any suggestions?

Closest thing to a stock Sprint 6.5 ROM you will find, works "out of the box" with all the standards sprint apps and all the fluff is removed. I recently started flashing and tried a few ROMs this last weekend and have to say for what you are looking for it's by far the best.
