Re: Time Problem
Did you run Task 29 (Click here for link)before flashing the ROM, and did you wipe the device after?
This combination prevents any weird unwanted issues from popping up. I have flashed many Energy ROMS and have never had any issues with time zones changing after I set it manually.

Re: Time Problem
nope i didnt.. but i plan to.. just to make everything fresh..
anyway.. i found a fix for it! i guess this is what many people around the forum are looking for. for some reason, the time synchronization setting in settings-phone doesnt seem to work.. i dont know why.. so i edited it through the registry.. go here: HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL and anything that says time sync or time zone sync, i changed it to 0. all is well now. and i'm so happy i found a fix myself. |

Re: Time Problem
i turned off all the gps settings on my phone
set the time and let it rest and keep these settings i soft reset and it still stayed at the same time i then turned back on all the gps settings and that seemed to fix it my time was changing every hour when my weather would update. this fixed it.

if using cell tower triangulation, it tells me im in a city next to where i really am. it doesnt affect the time, but it does affect the location and weather. when connected to a wifi router, it tells me im in san diego, when i'm really in the philippines. the router did come from san diego. i've researched, and a certain company has marked this specific router to be in san diego, and that's why. i turned off agps, and it's all good. |
