Keyboard problem, wrong characters

I seem to be getting the wrong characters when using the keyboard on a few keys. If you look at the keyboard the N button works fine but when I hit FN+N i get / when i should get :. J also works but when I hit FN+J I get :. Its like the these two are switched.

The H key when combined with FN also returns ; instead of \.
The FN+B should five me ; but does not instead it just types B.

I am using energy rom and I didn't use the keyboard enough before flashing to know if it was doing this with the stock rom.

Is this a hardware or software problem?

depending on the rom you are using, check the main page. There is probably a link for a "Sprint Keyboard fix" I know that there is one posted in the Energy thread

Hmm still have the same problem, even after the provisioning.

Search for the Sprint Keyboard Fix cab. It worked for me. If I find it I'll post it up.

I have the same problem on stock VZW 6.5 rom. does the same fix work?
