Re: Is the ability to Crop photos gone?

Pictures & Videos has always been in my programs folder. Not sure why it wouldn't show up for you. I don't use it often because it is HORRIBLY slow. Especially when I start a new MMS and go to add a pic.. OMG It lags up so bad because immediately when it opens its defaulted on "All files" at the top. I have to use File explorer and attach it to MMS that way.

I also have the File explorer extention cab. Makes wonders out of it. Its got a nice image preview option so you can see a thumbbnail of it when selected. Works fine on my TP2.

P&V is slow because it pre-loads every image in a folder before you even open it. Idk.. MS stuff is always slow. Use Resco , it's much faster

Re: Is the ability to Crop photos gone? [Workaround]

Thanks again for the location of the .exe file. But now I'm interested in the file explorer tweak you mentioned! I just tried doing a search for it, but came up empty. Do you happen to know where I can find it? What else does it do?

Re: Is the ability to Crop photos gone?

Well, I tried the moving method over my PC and the folders weren't there for whatever reason...and I attempted to make them unhidden with no luck. So I went through Total Commander, found the file, attempted to move it, and it wouldn't let me. I'm baffled.

Re: Is the ability to Crop photos gone?

Mine wouldn't move either. On the PC, I right clicked on the file and selected "copy" then I navigated to the folder I wanted and clicked "paste shortcut"

We seemed to have the same setup on our devices, so I'm not sure why the windows files are hidden for you. Do you have the ability to copy and paste a shortcut in Total Commander?

Re: Is the ability to Crop photos gone?

Yea, I'm not sure what's going on really. And when I try to copy/paste with TC, I get an error message every time. I'm not too sure what to do at this point.

Re: Is the ability to Crop photos gone?

Could it be as simple as your folder settings in Windows? I'm still running Windows XP on my PC. Not sure if this will be the same steps for you if you're running something else. Connect your phone to the computer and explore it. In the explorer window, go to the Tools menu, select Folder Oprions, go to the View tab and look for the Hidden Files and Folders folder...make sure that you've selected "show hidden files and folders" I know it's old school, but it's worth checking out if you haven't already done so.

I assumed that's what it was, and it turns out I have it set to view hidden folders/files...so I'm at a loss for words right now. Thanks for your help, I'll keep at it.

EDIT: Scratch that, didn't realize Vista hides Windows files/folders on default haha. I'm in now.

EDIT EDIT: I coped it to my desktop, then moved it into the Start Menu/Programs folder, renamed it to Pictures and Video.lnk....and nada. Boo. Any suggestions?
