Touchscreen fails in landscape mode

Thought I'd circulate this and see if anyone else is having this issue or has a fix: I have a Sprint TP2 and the touch screen part of the screen fails in landscape mode. The screen is getting juice, but when I tap on it or try to swipe it, nothing happens.

I have the latest ROM, and nothing exotic installed that should interfere with that function.

Hardware issue I'm thinking?

Yup! Complementary of your friends at HTC! I'm writing the corporate office for a similar issue I'm having. Hopefully they'll take care of me, if not I'll just move on to some other non HTC device.

My guess is a ribbon cable issue. Time for a replacement.

I'm bumping this thread because i'm having the same issue. Touchscreen is not working in landscape mode but is working fine in normal mode. Did anyone resolve this issue or is this probably a hardware/ribbon cable issue?

Thanks.

I'd say if you still experience this issue while using the shipped 6.1 rom then it is a hardware problem.
