Random freezing issue

Randomly when I unlock the phone(stock WM6.5 lock) it won't load into sense, it just hangs on the lock screen. It seems as the problem is with sense because when it is frozen, I can still click the windows flag(start hard key) and it does go into the start menu. It is not rom related because it's happend to me on 3 different roms(all with different chefs). It is very weird and annoying. Anyone else experience this or have a solution???

thanks in advance

Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro 2 (Sprint): Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

my phone freezes at random times .... only after 6.5 upgrade of course. 1 of the many things this upgrade has me a little salty about.

Re: Random freezing issue

I was having the same issue. Seemed to stop happening since i started deleting all my text messages daily. Don't quite know why but only seemed to happen when I had a lot of texts in my inbox

Re: Random freezing issue

Just thought that I should update everyone since I found the solution. The problem I had pertained to the leo favorite contact issue when syncing w/outlook. The problem is when you've set favorite contacts using manilla 2.1, then flash a sense 2.5 rom and resync your contacts, the notes field on each favorite contacts contain too much code(where it cannot add anymore info). To check to see if you have the same issue, go to one of your favorite contacts and view the "notes" part and see if code fills the entire screen.

Solution: remove all your favorite from favorites, erase everything in the notes section on each contact, then go to outlook and remove the "HTC Favorit" category on every contact.... set all your favorite back(on your device) and resync....Wala, no more freezing.

for more info there are aritcle's on this issue, i know for a fact pocketnow.com has one(that's where i found the fix) but i'm sure if you google it, you will find it easily
