Why do videos tend to lag with the keyboard out?

So topic title pretty much explains it all. I love to watch my videos with my keyboard out and screen tilted, but they tend to lag a lot more. Any reason for that and any fix?

I've never noticed any difference in video playback with the keyboard in or out. Seems the same to me. Are you using a custom ROM?

Re: Why do videos tend to lag with the keyboard out?

I always watch videos on CorePlayer with the keyboard out and screen tilted and playback is identical to playing back videos with the keyboard in.

Re: Why do videos tend to lag with the keyboard out?

I don't think its related to the keyboard being out, its related to fullscreen landscape mode. I've noticed this too sometimes that when watching a video or slingbox in portrait mode the video is fluid and clean but sometimes in landscape mode it gets choppy or I lose more frames.

Re: Why do videos tend to lag with the keyboard out?

Hmm... It could be the landscape...

And yes I am using a custom ROM. I'm gonna flash to the new Ngrz ROM now and see if anything is different. Maybe it's just the video file that's bad...
