How do i get my phone to read out my texts to me?

Usually if its an urgent messege the phone will read it out to you. But the inconvinience in that is that it reads it to you when it comes in and thats it. You may not even be ready to listen to it. I'm sure someone out there will figure out how to add the feature you are asking about. BTW try SamsungIntrepid Tell Me app. it is awesome. You can dictate text.

Settings>Menu>All>Personal>Voice Command make sure VC is enabled. In Messages go to Options and check Announce New Messages(DO NOT CHECK HIGH P) Then under Notifactions check which is the option for you.
