GSM to CDMA?

I've seen a lot of threads about CDMA vs. GSM, but I haven't found anything about whether or not it is possible to transform a GSM ROM to CDMA format? I really like this one GSM ROM, and I can't find anything that is as appealing as it or similar to it. So is it possible to take a GSM ROM and make it into a CDMA ROM?

Not that I have an answer but i'm pretty sure he was asking can he take a GSM ROM and change it so it will run on CDMA. Not if he can run a GSM ROM on a CDMA phone. hopefully someone can answer his original question.

yes you can but you will need all the core from the CDMA device (ROM) that you will be switching too

EnergyROM always makes a GSM version AND a CDMA version of each of his ROM's. Get CDMA version here at PPC-Geeks, and get GSM version at XDA Developers. I can't think of anyone else who caters to both technologies . . .

Re: GSM to CDMA?

They both are the same except a few handful pkgs. Infact, you can just flash (OS only, dont flash radio or SPL it will be an instant brick!) from GSM to CDMA and vice versa. But doing so, you may loose some functionality.

My initial kitchen was based on GSM, but converted over to CDMA.

I do suggest you use OEM drivers specific for your device, ie GSM or CDMA.
