New ActiveSync problem

Just recently, my phone refuses to sync with Win7 when the "enable faster..." box is checked. Perhaps a new update I installed. Guess I can deal with slow syncing, but anyone know what causes this?

Re: New ActiveSync problem

WMDC 6.1 doesn't connect when you have the enable faster connection checked for some reason. Every ROM i've tried doesn't work either, something with how it connects. If you want to transfer to your SD card faster just connect directly to the card in the usb to pc connection settings. As far as i've seen there are no workarounds at this time.

Re: New ActiveSync problem

Hmmm, that's odd. I could have sworn it worked for me before. Oh, well. Thanks anyway!

Re: New ActiveSync problem

Mine works fine on Win7 with it checked. Check the log and see if it's a corrupt entry. I had the use SKTools to remove a couple duplicate calendar entries for it to sync right.

Re: New ActiveSync problem

1. delete your phone profile in wmdc/activesync, create a new one, try again...
2. if 1. didn't work, completely uninstall/reinstall wmdc/activesync, try again...

"enable faster" should be okay...

FYI: I had to fix my sync'ing about an hour before reading this thread! LOLOL!! I had to do option 2., btw.
