How do I know when I'm using 3G on my TP2? I have sprint and an added data package.

it says evdo- you are on 3g
it says 1x- you are not on 3g

there is an explanation somewhere, but calls and texts are 1x. internet is EVDO.

internet is through 1x as well, but not very fast.
you cannot be on evdo and talk at the same time unless you have at&t.

yeah internet will go through 1x when EVDO is not available. i left that out...oops.

Yes, EVDO Rev-A is the same at EV. Guess they were too lazy to add the extra letters!

Sprint and Verzion based services are the only ones with EVDO as that is for CDMA phones. ATT and TMo are GSM. Enough with the ABCs? HAHA
