Issues with text messaging

Sometimes when I send texts on my phone, it automatically capitalizes "I" or puts in apostrophes, like "haven't". However, it doesn't do this all the time. I've tried to figure out why the settings won't stay, but I haven't come up with any solution. I apologize in advance if there is a thread already on this topic, I searched and couldn't find anything though. I'm just really picky when I text, so it takes me forever to capitilize and use punctuation correctly. lol.
I know there is probably an obvious solution to this, but it's driving me nuts. :confused1:

Don't use XT9 when texting. I'm not sure if thats the problem but check into it.

I've tried switching it to regular texting, but it still doesn't work

LOL, I'm the same way. The only thing that works 100% for me is to use my touchPal 3.5 KB. That always works....
