Can someone point to a thread that explains how to use this ive looked at threads and i am lost..

Is there a beginner thread for this type of program

I have Mobipocket Reader installed on my TP2 storage card and it work pretty well. You can dowload the windows mobile version of Mobipocket reader for free at Mobipocket Reader's website.

I would also recommend you install PC version of mobipocket reader on your computer so that you can sync your PC eBooks with your TP2. For more information you can read FAQ page on Mobipocket reader's website.

You might check other readers as well. Freda has turned out to be excellent with a gesture driven interface that is fully customizable (is that a word?).
