Swype slows down my tp2 and then freezes the phone. Please help.

I've been having issues with WinMo 6.5 and had to revert back to WinMo 6.1.

I love swype, but it gradually slows down my TP2. After around 1 day of regular phone use, my phone freezes and I have to do a reset.

Anyone know what's going on? I'm using Swype 2.0 right now.

Appreciate any help,
Ally

I doubt its swype. Do any of the tweaking for 6.1?

I'm pretty sure it is because once I unintalled swype everything is fine. Then a week later, I installed it again and the problem occurred as well.

what version of it are you using? i know an early version had issues, the swipe 3.9 is pretty good for me. try upgrading and see if that helps the issue

edit: by version i mean build number.

i had swype installed on my tp with stock 6.5. i rarely used it so i removed it. havent had any freezing issues after removing it. also removed a couple of other cabs and cleaned out all my sms and mms but i am tempted to reinstall swype and see what happens.

Swype has been freezing up for me too. I am running Sprint Lovers 6.5 rom. I am going to try a newer build and see how that goes.
