Either I pressed the pick up button or slide the answer screen, there is no response and after that I have a missed call. When I test the phone it seems fine but I end up missing phone calls do to this issue. Anyone has the same problem or know how to fix it ?

I am using 6.5 Sprint OEM ROM with the 6.5 tweak/clean up. Thanks and I appreciate your help.

thanks you for the prompt response. I doubt if the data is connected but I noticed it happens when the phone is charged and I try to pick up incoming calls.

Re: random problem with unable to pick up incoming call

read the thread on the sprint clean up tweak, I think a lot of users are having issues when using this. I think the problem you are having is related to something called the Microsoft Screen of Death. I would suggest fully reading the clean up thread, there is a lot of good info in there. Also there is a stock sprint 6.5 thread floating around with a lot of fixes and tweaks (i'll grab and post the link here shortly).

Re: random problem with unable to pick up incoming call

I experienced the same problem after loaded a cab designed to stop the data connection after a minute of non-use to save the battery... unfortunately, it also prevents the phone from being answered. I removed the cab, soft reset, and no more problem.

Re: random problem with unable to pick up incoming call

Thanks. I read about that too--I will uninstall that 60 second data disconnect cab and keep you posted. How did you manage the battery drain quickly after removing the cab. I appreciate your input. Thanks.

Re: random problem with unable to pick up incoming call

well, the data timeout setting would not cause the problem, the cab used likely had other stuff in it.

I am still suspicious that you have something installed that is unfreindly with cdma.

Shaggy, in the Data 60 secs disconnect cab, the reg edit contains a string of numbers.

YOUR suspendresume777 tweak replaces this string with #777#.
Will it render the data disconnect null & void?
And also cause the dreaded can't connect to #777 popup
