TP2 will not turn on!
 

Just got this thing a little over a week ago, and it had full charge today, and I looked down, and it just died. It wont charge on on the laptop but will charge on the wall charger..any ideas??

there's a red button under the battery cover, next to the microsd slot. use the stylus to push it.

as for the actual reason why it won't turn on, i'm not sure, more seasoned users will have to chime in.

Tried a soft reset, and the lights on the bottom of the phone flashed for just a second...nothing more.

Tried a hard reset, and nothing happened.

Any other suggestions?

Hi,

Something similar has happend to my TP2 (third one now), and it seemed to happen when closeing the keyboard after sending a text message. Anyway, the way I solve it, is by plugging it into the wall charger, after about a minute, the TP2 reboots. The other option, is to pull the battery out. When mine does this, even pressing the reset button does nothing. Good luck!

to charge while plugged into a laptop go to settings-system-power-battery then click the box thats says charge while plugged in2 a computer

a long shot, but what worked for me when mine wouldnt turn on, is i took out the battery for a minute then replaced and it started up. good luck.
