using the usb as a flash drive for the car radio

my touch pro used to allow me to use the phone with the car usb function, is there any reason why the touch pro 2 don't? do i need drivers or power setting were changed?

bump... i tried softtick and this programs allow me to use the card as a hdd, the problem is usb to pc program with htc...is this something i can tweak/fix in the registry?

As an alternative, I'd suggest try streaming audio through Bluetooth. I had some luck with it, and got the onscreen controls in the car to work as well.

The BT audio streaming works but it is not nearly as high fidelity as the headphone into the jack (you loose the highs and lows). I tried to connect as a USB drive, but the playback was very jerky and stuttered alot (PPC processing was getting in the way of the realtime access). I've had much better luck copying the mp3 files to a plain USB flash drive and using that.
