Re: how do you to turn off proximity sensor?

what you are describing doesn't seem to be a function of the proximity sensor. Can you please explain what is happening with your phone?

I put it to the ear, the screen it doesnt always go off and I am opening all kind of stuff. I use to be able to turn it off with the power buton before. It still turns off when I press the power button, but when the prox sensor is touched it comes back on.
