Re: Touch Pro 2 goes dim in 10 seconds

I am having the same issue. I change the backlight timer settings in both places and it resets to either 10 or 7 seconds. Quite frustrating. I am running MightyRom latest version. I'm not a newb... I have checked all of the usual. I recently had to hard reset after my root directory files all got corrupted. everything seems to be fine except for this. The setting had no problem sticking before the hard reset.

Your locking program (s2u2, etc.) is probably overriding your changes and resetting them after a soft reset at boot.
Change the backlight/power settings in your locking app.

had this issue before, and no way around it, so I just bought pocketshield for 10 bux and done. pocketshield is a great screen lock as well.

This is what happened to me as well. I fixed it by going to the MightyRom. You might want to try re-ROMing it. And the first thing you do after that is setup your dim times. Try not to restore any backups and see if that helps.
