Internet Sharing Help Please

ok can someone help me with the internet sharing program so my phone can share the internet with my computer i have one on my phone rigth now but i get lots of errors with it i dont think i have the right program for my phone can someone help me? thanks

hklm\comm\internet sharing and delete the isext.dll data part of the string,so only the "extension" name will only be there. Plug your cable into your phone first,open the internet sharing app and hit connect before you plug it in to your computer,it will give you a check your cable connection message,go ahead and connect your cable and that should be it.

Step 1. Uninstall whatever program you installed that is giving you errors
2. do a soft reset (stylus in hole)
3. install the attached cab to phone
4. soft reset (stylus in hole)
5. go to start menu go to bottem and select wifi router (its blue)
6. come back to this page and click the thanks button (LOL)
7. Enjoy!

Better yet, why don't you just flash to a custom rom such as "Sprint Lover's Rom" and tethering as well as wi-fi router is pre cooked into the rom and works perfectly. It's an awesome rom and is very quick and responsive and is basically a beefed up and improved Sprint WM 6.5 rom.

Read the sticky threads in the Touch Pro 2 Upgrades forum if you need to know how to flash to a custom rom. It's quite easy actually.

why is everyone's answer to something so simple is to "flash a custom ROM"? my tp2 tethered right out of the box using ics.
simply run ics, wait for it to tell you that you need to connect usb cord, connect and it was done. no activesyncing or anything. it just worked. if you are only using it for one computer it makes more sense to plug it in then wifi it, you'll end up having to charge it anyways.

thanks for the help but i dont know the name fro the cab a friend put it on my phone and its giving me a error 67 all the time even when im not trying to connect

If you don't know, then remove all of them if you truly want to get this to work.
