everytime i download a song or wav it downloads it as that diferent color windows file can someone help me fix this

ok have you ever downloaded anything and its for a pc not ppc depending on what player you haveit has that icon in front of it well mine just startedhaving that diferentcolor box in front of the mp3 or wav file

If you could please post a screen shot of what it is you are talking about it would be a lot easier to help you :) I like visual rather than oral descriptions.

hit reply and then in the reply window, theres a picture of a mountain with a sun, right next to the "insert link" icon

Hey Hector...here is a cab for a screen shot program for your phone...see if you can get a screen shot of your prob for us :)
I hope this one is the one I was telling you about *turns red* I have mega amounts of cabs on my sd card and don't remember if this is the shake to save one lol

Nope, not shake and save. But hey, if it works..:) I use S&S and think it's got to be the easiest thing around.

Sure he isn't talking about the plain ol windows icon that appears for unknown file types?

What you have to do is check the properties of that file and see what type of file it is then change it to MP3.
