What batteries would you recommend?

I am looking for a battery that will fit with the standard back. Are there any batteries that will provide more than 1500 mA that would still fit with the standard back though? The HSPDA when connected is nice for throughput but is a battery killer.

Im not sure youre going to find a battery that fits the stock battery cover that will provide longer use unless it is some crazy off brand. I just use 2 HTC batteries and switch them out when needed. I have a desktop charger for the phone as well as the battery (all in one) and it works very well

Give this one a try - http://cgi.ebay.com/2000mah-Spare-Ba...item5ad83f1369 I've been using it for a month or so and its working great, fits the standard cover and is cheap!

Here is the Mugen 1800mAh a very well respected brand.
http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com...t-battery.html

1800mAh and almost $20.00 cheaper too.

I put one of these in my TP2 and its fits and works great.

Bout the only down side was it took about three weeks to get shipped to me in the US which made me glad I bought two, but it is a great battery and I highly recommend it.

PS I did follow the instructions for full charge and discharge several time and since then I have gotten some great usage times.

Btw not that I'm discounting that 2000mAh ebay one for the price, but there is a thread on them here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ighlight=Dopod that show very mixed results with most stating not much time improvements, but again for the price you can't beat them.

Hope it helps.

I have had siedo in the past and they are great BUT THEY Are TOO EXPEnSiVE!
They are not actual battery manufacturer so as specialty store they need to take their cut so you will pay more.

I have also purchase the above low cost battey on ebay.
It runs stong for me, but below40% it falls rapidly so as to be no better than stock.

I now have th MUGEN posted above.
IT IS CHEAPEr and the best battery so far.
It is the real deal in giving you some extra power than stock for same size.

They both come from china and so took similar shipping times.

Bottom line is Mugen is best for money.

siedo batterys are expensive but you find out where the extra money goes in the long run! Mugen are great to byt dont last like the above. and that chinese 2000mah is a ok back up for $9 bucks

Does the Mugen battery make your phone go faster and look cooler like aftermarket Mugen parts do for Hondas?

Joking....of course. But it would be pretty sweet if it did :headbang:
