Music Tab: Sense 2.1 vs Sense 2.5
I use my phone often as an MP3 player. I noticed that while using Sense 2.1 builds, my music library remained cached in media player so that as soon as I turned my phone on, I could go to the artist tab and pick which one I wanted to listen to. However, I am now using Sense 2.5 and noticed that the library doesn't cache (correct term?) and instead I am forced to wait 60-120 seconds before I can scroll through my library. Is there a fix for this? Has anyone else noticed this difference? BTW I am using a class 6 micro SD with all of my music stored there (~6GB).
If this has been addressed previously, I apologize. |

+1 i noticed the same issue about the library having to load. i have about 7gb of music so it takes a while to load. anyone found a solution to this?

I would like to see if there is something to fix this too. I have a 8GB with about 3GB of music.

Also having the same problem, 2.1 worked fine...the artists/songs were loaded whenever I went to the music tab. Kind of annoying, hopefully fixable.

Yes, I noticed the same thing on the stock Sprint 6.5 ROM. Would LOVE to know of a fix.

Re: Music Tab: Sense 2.1 vs Sense 2.5
that's odd, my 6.1 behaves exactly as my 6.5.
It made me wait until it loads all the songs & covers before allowing me to flip through them. |

I don't have a huge music collection like u guys but i share your hatred of lag lol. try this, it works well 4 me. (does exactly what it says, reloads your music @ startup instead of when you try to access it)
