No MMS on Custom Rom on VZW any help??
 

i installed this custom ROM but my MMS doesn't work, does anyone know if there's a fix for this??? i'm a big time noob this is my first time flashing and it works great except for MMS.. i tried the arcsoft mms vzw .cab but it did not work...any help would be much appreciated...

Try this CAB out. Works like a charm for me on Mr. X Rom and Silence.

Also, whatever ROM you are running be sure to run the proper provisioning.

what's provisioning? sorry i'm seriously a total noob would the nprovisioning affect serivce? cuz everything works service wise just not mms..

When originally flashing the rom, you have to provision the phone for your carrier (I see you are Verizon). After this you will have your phone set up for use with your carrier. Your keyboard will be provisioned to work with your specific carrier. Different carriers have different keyboard layouts and such.

where would i find out if my rom is provisioned? on htcpedia site i downloaded the rom from it says xip and oem verizon 3.04 rom so this means its made for vzw right?

i've always tried all the cabs and none of them seemed to work..

i'll continue to search to see if i can figure out how to fix this.

If it says Verizon rom, then it's probably already provisioned. And in that case, if the cabs above do not work, contact the builder of the rom. Thats where your best answer is going to be.
