Battery Percentage Woes

So I got my new TP2 which infuriates me last night, and I've installed no2chem's 1% thingy, the two TP2 cleanup/tweaks, and I have the nueBattery2 setting box checked for 1& increments, yet it doesn't show them on the top bar. I tried to install CMYLXGO's white battery thing, and not only did percentages not show up, but the vibrate icon disappeared. I'm a bit loss. I'm pretty sure I'm running 6.5 by the way, I just don't know how to tell. Thanks in advance, sorry if this is a dumb problem.

Re: Battery Percentage Woes

The cleanup cab includes a battery driver, though I don't know which one (you'd need to ask GoodThings2Life for that info), and it's likely that installing nueBattery then the cleanup cab, you're potentially back to the stock battery driver.

Ah, would deleting the nue one work? Thanks, I missed that one. I'll try it.

Re: Battery Percentage Woes

I un-installed the nue one, no dice. I'm re-installing it now. Boo. I have that little rainbow bar up top for now. Thanks for the help by the way.

So I re-installed it, and I get the % when I press the battery, but the battery is still made of bars with no number. I just want a number on there...

Re: Battery Percentage Woes

I tried CMYLXGO's white battery one, does that count? It didn't do it correctly and deleted my sound/vibrate icon. Unless that's not what we're talking about.

Re: Battery Percentage Woes

Did you install the sdkcerts.cab when you did the install?

Edit - attached the file I had, not sure if it's the current one although it worked on my TP2.
Attached Files
File Type: cab sdkcerts.cab (4.6 KB, 6 views) Click for barcode!

Re: Battery Percentage Woes

I installed the sdkcerts...same thing happened when I tried it again. I'm hoping I don't have to hard reset....

Re: Battery Percentage Woes

Installing cab on top of cab is not a good idea. If you have uninstalled the installed a different cab this may have removed files needed as well. Though I don't suggest a hard reset to most (last resort) I think you are there. Sorry bud.

Re: Battery Percentage Woes

I agree to uninstall. Try these cabs. One is for the 1% Update and the other (PurianS) is the task bar. Worked for me on stock Sprint install. Feel free to thank if it works. I have a collection of Cabs that work on Sprint and a trash bin of others that failed to work...
