Sprint 6.5 ...why is it not like cooked ROM's??

I loaded the official 6.5 from sprint on my phone...now I cant set the background like I could with cooked ROM's...why? I open the .CAB's and it says it loads on phone but when it resets...nothing happens...this goes for the clear clock stuff I used to use with CFAY's roms before....whats up with this?

thats why most use custom ROMs, they usually work much better than the stock lol

What is it that you're actually trying to do? Setting the background does not normally involve the use of a .cab file.

Re: Sprint 6.5 ...why is it not like cooked ROM's??

Stock roms are stripped to run for the most well.. not so bright people to figure out simple functions. We get bored with it and load custom roms to get look feel speed etc..
