Stock Sprint 6.5 Rom and 3gp files

Sorry if I missed a post on this. Lookes but couldn't find anything unless it's in the 100plus page of when 6.5 1st came out lol

My issue is I have several files in 3gp format that I used to be ablr to view with no problems on the TP & TP2 with stock 6.1 roms.

I forget the name of the media player that was stock but it would play those types of files for me.

Now when I try to play those types of files, it tries to play them in WMP and error msg "Cannot play file" comes up.

I want to view my tube 8 files lol!!!

I've tried TCPMP and maybe it's something I'm doing wrong but it gave me errors too and would alway crash after I try to play so I uninstalled it.

Ok so I figured out part of the problem. I navigate to the file, choose open with and use HTC Album.

That works for some of the files but not all of them. The others still try to open with Windows Media player.

I have verified that they are all same 3gp format. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm afraid to try TCPMP again unless there are more files or tweaks I have to do to it to get it to work

Try the Kinoma Player ($) but the free version may do the trick as well. This player works much better in direct comparison to the Core Player and offers stable 1080p playback.
