Remove folder from album scan

Does anyone know if there's a way to remove a folder from the HTC album scan? There's a .thumbnails folder in my DCIM folder on the storage card that slingplayer and a game use and it populates the album and photo tab with so many junk photos that it renders them almost useless. I don't remember this happening with the older versions of album, just with the newest sprint album from the official 6.5 rom. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Nevermind, found the answer here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=462904 in case anyone is wondering.

Re: Remove folder from album scan

I'm making a wild guess here... If there are files in the folder like .album" or anything that looks like what the album cache uses, try naming a blank text file that filename. If there's no data in the file, maybe album will skip over it instead of trying to create a new file?
