How does running the phone at a much higher clock speed and it getting slower "make sense"?

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

Using the OC 4.2 Auto Cab. Works pretty good. Got to 787 but my appointments don't show up anymore on the home screen. Anyone else have this?

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

I'll try lowering the poll interval and see what that does. Thanks.....

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

@ the guys asking about ramsweeper... if you use the setcpuspeed app,you need to add setcpuspeed.exe to the ram sweeper list located in the installation folder. this will keep ram sweeper from closing setcpuspeed. i dont this you have to do this for the OC_Auto Script. I hope that helps

Thanks for the numbers, I had been scared to poll at less then the 1000 that was suggested.... are u guys able to set a higher OC speed by decreasing the polling? I am stuck at 710- fast but envious of those that hit 800+....

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

UPDATE!! UPDATE!!
WE NOW HAVE COMPLETELY WORKING OVERCLOCK AND UNDERCLOCK
DYNAMIC SCALING NEW APP!!
GO HERE:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=162

I have just finished testing and it works completely with no SOD and feels snappier at same speeds.

There also is another link to help with the GUI here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=382

As always, Test at your own risk, but I have already tested new version to work on my Sprint TP2 which is a 7600 processor which previously was not compatible.

Working ok I guess. I like that it's dynamic however now it seems to make my device speed up and slow down from second to second. Maybe I just need to play with the settings a little more.
