CHT Editor tab question when changing Call History command

So I downloaded the Uzeb Call History tab here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623819

I'm using Cookie Home Tab Editor and trying to have it open the Uzeb Call History when I click Call History but cant find the app in the list when I click to change the program it opens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's because Uzeb Call History isn't an app but a tab in manila. You have to pass an argument to manila to switch to a particular tab.

Open your registry editor go to HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila

Change value of Co0kie.CallHistoryLink to

\windows\manila.exe --switchtopage peopleCallHistory.page

Soft reset or restart Manila.

Re: CHT Editor tab question when changing Call History command

This is the error I get now.

The file 'manila.exe --switchtopage peopleCallHistory' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.

did you get the correct cab? if your running manila 2.5 you have to go to the second post. where did you install the cab to?
otherwise you need to edit the manila files directly, i believe.

try putting \windows\manila.exe in quotes:
"\windows\manila.exe" --switchtopage peopleCallHistory.page

Yes I downloaded the 2.5 version. The call history works just fine. It's all the way to the right on the slidebar. I installed the cab to "Device".

When I do that, after I hit Call History, it highlights in white box for 3-5 seconds, then just un-highlights and does nothing.

Re: CHT Editor tab question when changing Call History command

Put this shortcut in \Windows\Start Menu in any one of the folders and then use CHTEditor to change the Call History location and you should now see Call History in the list. Works like a champ. Apparently the argument was causing issues so we just use the shortcut which has the argument included.

You have to rename the attached file from .txt to .lnk before you move it to the \Windows\Start Menu folder. Had to rename it do to PPCgeeks upload restrictions on lnk files.

Re: CHT Editor tab question when changing Call History command

You are very welcome. This was actually one reason I switched to CHT from Maxmanila. I'm hoping for some other editable notifications for sms and email and I'll be set.
