Has anyone had their Home Screen (only) start looking like this?
I can't figure what happened, and it must be software, because the other screens look as they always have.

Bundo, u using any color tweaking app like UI...sometimes when I mess with Sktool trying to manipulate color, I get a screen looking like like that,sometimes with different color.....i say color got phuked, can be readjusted...
 nothing major there man, whatever u were tweaking , redo...

1)Why are you still using Sprints 6.1 stock Rom? 2)What's wrong with your screen?

Just assumptions here:
1. freedom of choice 2. Color got phuked up as stated in my earlier answer, u see the red lines.....not ugly, but not usual

since updating to 6.5 im seeing speed like i never seen b4, faster response to inputs wit tf3d or w.e the hell its called these days & its what saved me from dumping this phone. ironically i have 50% better battery life which i dont get. 1 down side is the version of opera that comes with it blows the ships captain ..

you have just changed your background is all. go to the settings page, and click to change the wallpaper, it will ask if you want to use the default wallpaper, click yes, and done
