What were you syncing it with? Outlook, My Phone?

Re: Help lost all contacts
Hey Melissa,
You mean you were just plugging in the USB cable and then Activesync would synchronize? Did you sync your contacts somewhere (to outlook, etc?) I haven't done the Sprint upgrade, so maybe someone who has can confirm/deny if it does a full flash; in which case I'm sorry to say I think you did lose them. I'm assuming you don't back them up externally somewhere. I use PIMBackup, an old program; there's newer alternatives like MyPhone, but PIM does what I need. Outputs it to a file, which I have saved in my email, and on my external hard drive. Losing your contacts would be a pain, so everytime before I flash I use PIMBackup to create a new file and save that file. Not sure it helps now, but you know for the future. Honestly if you can't retreive them, my only other suggestion would be to go through your online cell account and look at your call log. Start putting in the numbers you recognize (though chances are you have those memorized anyway). It's the numbers you don't recognize you may have to send a few texts "who is this again, sorry I lost my contacts". Best of luck and I HTH somewhat. Wish I had a better solution.

Re: Help lost all contacts
Also Sprint is supposed to have an automatic contact backup online. But I think you gotta set it up and it updates OTA. I never looked into it though. But MyPhone works perfect for me and Outlook as well. Better luck next time.

Re: Help lost all contacts
Where is your contact information stored on the PC? Outlook? Are they still on the PC, just not syncing to your phone? If so, maybe you just need to check the sync settings in ActiveSync and make sure "Contacts" box is checked...
