Hang Up button as shortcut for Airplane mode

I'm using the stock ROM. I was on a trip recently and ran the battery down to zero.

When I got it charged back up again, I can no longer use the hang up button to turn Airplane mode on and off.

I hold the button down, the phone gives a short vibrate but nothing else happens.

Any suggestions where to look?

under "all settings>personal>buttons>long press end key.....maybe it got set to vibrate ringer?
