i can not find how to change owner's name...

i upgraded to sprint official WM 6.5

i want to reinstall resco explorer and need register again

i think its settings or all settings then personal.

Just got to your contacts and put your name (as the apps will recognize it ) in your contact card. Or you can make an edit to the key below to put the option back in Settings -> Personal.

HKLM/ControlPanel/Owner, change Hide from 1 to 0, reboot

new stock 6.5 doesn't have owner info in settings anymore, there is a registry edit for it, Read through this Thread post #3 and Post #9 http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=114959

You can either do the registry edit if you want to see the owner info settings or use the contact card method as i did.

I know searching can be a bit overwhelming at times. don't forget thanks for whichever method you choose.

Post #3 on your link and post # 3 in this thread are the same info made by the same person. ME! I thought I saw a cab floating around too, but I didn't save it.

NO worries , i know the chefs have it on their roms, but sprint had it set to partner with the my contact card in all contacts

Or you can go to your contacts and you can update your "My Contact Card". Just enter your info there and that will update your "Owner's Information". That works for me. I didn't have to edit my registry. Cheers!
