You just chose it as your input method. i.e. hit the little white triangle at the bottom and chose Swype.

i installed the one the htcblackbird fix cab and now my phone identifies as an tmobile leo, is there a fix for that, besides that evrything elso works fine

yeah not only is that a problem, but not my sprint tv wont work at all. i uninstalled swype and things went back to working correctly.

Yea ive noticedwith swype installed when i (accidently) use my keyboard some of the keys have been switched like FN ! or FN /or FN : but no biggie.

It might be helpful to re-provision your phone after you install Swype. I believe the carrier provisions should help reset things back to normal.

This has not been tested by me as I use Touchpal.

Those are the typical problems with using the 3.9 htcblackbird fix cab version. Use the one in the second post for swype 2.0. It doesn't have the incompatibilities because it wasn't built for a specific phone.

ok here is what i don to fix all my problems, i done a hard resetm and installed the cab from post #5 before doing anything else than i set my phone up installing what ever prograns i use and setting up my email accounts, now evrything works and shows the right device info
