New tp2 problems.

Got my supposed unocked tp2 (t-mobile). Put my sim card in and fired it up. And it asks me for an unlock code. Where do I find this?

Re: New tp2 problems.

Got the phone unlocked. Now I'm having issues setting up the phone to connect to AT&T 3G as right now its setup for T-mobile. How do I accomplish this?

Re: New tp2 problems.

I know the phone is capable of 3G. The phone is picking up the AT&T network and have the network type/band set to auto. And have not been able to pick up a 3G signal. With my old Fuze (TP) I recieved 3G in my current location, not the strongest signal but it worked. So far all I've been able to pick up is E.

Re: New tp2 problems.

Looked through my touch pro settings last night. And started to set up a new connection using the same settings. But once you get to the end it asks for a password for the at&t isp. What is the password?

Re: New tp2 problems.

The T-Mobile TP2 is NOT able to get AT&T 3G signal, they use a different band that the T-Mobile TP2 does not support.

Re: New tp2 problems.

Looks like I have a Touch pro 2 for sale!

Thats odd though.

So there isn't any way to set up this phone to run on AT&T's 3G network?

Re: New tp2 problems.

Have you tried doing a hard reset with the SIM still in the phone? This should delete all the previous settings and automatically set up your carrier details once it restarts. That's how mine set up with a new Vodafone SIM (GSM - UK).
