whenever you upgrade rom, battery drains pretty quick for a couple of days. give it some time.

Re: batteryt life on sprint 6.5 horrible

Hmmm, I'm not going to agree. I left the house to go to the beach at 1pm yesterday, took some pics, uploaded to FB, answered 3 emails and 1 text. Got home at 7, forgot to charge phone, it's now 10:30AM next morning and I'm at 80% charge. That's about average for me with push mail on.

You have something else running in the background or some odd registry mod, maybe left BT or Wifi on???

I agree that Sense 2.5 drains battery more quickly than 2.1. But the battery performance is still quite good IMO. I left it at 80% last night and this morning it's still 80%.

Strongly disagree. With heavy usage I'm still at about %60 after 24 hours

Re: batteryt life on sprint 6.5 horrible

I also disagree. My battery life seems to be about the same maybe even a little better. Its been about 30 hours since my phone was last on the charger and Im at about 50%, until that is I get to my car to charge it. But still lasting that long has to say something.

Re: batteryt life on sprint 6.5 horrible

what is interesting is it drains the first 10% quickly that slows down.

usually the time from 100% to 90% take a lot longer. We will see. I might just go back to SPB Mobile Shell as that seem to work well.

Re: batteryt life on sprint 6.5 horrible

All things being equal (old programs reinstalled on 6.5), my battery life is roughly equal to before, not significantly better or worse. I have noticed that programs sometimes do not quit when I exit it, hence they are running in the background, could that be what is happening to you? If there is a persistent connection to the network with the program not properly quitting, could that be causing your battery drain?
