Question on editing registry
 

Have two things I am trying to do that may possibly be achieved through registry edits.

Was hoping someone could either provide me with the answer or point me in the correct direction.

With the new 6.5 rom, in my calendar program; only the default appointment 'category's are available(business, holiday, personal, seasonal). Outlook, in 6.1 I was able to choose from my MS outlook categories for it. Is there a place I can edit the registry to at least add a few choice categories in the 6.5 version?


2.) The contacts for 6.5 offers ability to sort contacts by 'Groups'. Is there a way to edit registry or settings or whatever, where only CERTAIN groups are shown instead of ALL groups?

Even if this is not an easy task, If someone could point me in the direction to learn how to accomplish this it would be greatly helpful.

Regarding the calendar. I have every category available to me that I have within my Outlook desktop client. I use ActiveSync to sync my calendar with Outlook, and I set those categories up within my desktop Outlook client...so they must be syncing over to the handheld.

As for the contact group question. I don't see a sort option, only a view by, and then name or company as the choices??? I see a filter option, and again, I see every Outlook category on my handheld that I set up within Outlook. The only suggestion I would have is to remove the unwanted groups from your Outlook client, sync, and then hopefully those deleted categories will then disappear from the handheld too.
