Sashimi Help, or do I have my hopes set too high? Verizon...

So I started to use Sashimi to do the VZW 6.1<>6.5 update. Once I realized that I would have to filter through all my downloaded .cab files and move them to the "automatic" folder, I decided I didn't need to fuss with it that bad.

I had a fully synced phone, and I just plowed through the firmware update. It all went well, and my phone was able to eventually resync my important data.

But, most of the other goodies were gone. Browser favorites. Google Maps history. Actually a lot of stuff I didn't really NEED, but I liked.

Now I've decided that the new VZW firmware is basically crap. It's prettier! My memory usage is typically 15% higher. It used to sit at 72% now it's never below 80%. I just had to reboot because it was running so slow. Services.exe has crashed several times. Lots of other performance issues.

So, I would like to figure out how to do a simple but thorough backup that would restore ALL my data AND settings. Email accounts, icon locations, etc...All of it!

Is it possible? I know I'm a *itch...

Plus, since I am such a pain, what rom does anybody suggest that might be more stable. Finger friendly is good too.

I suppose that I should add that I'd like to stick with 6,5 if possible.

Thanks,

-KP

Well...That DOES appear to be some Sashimi help, doesn't it?

After parsing through that, I'm remembering now why I blew it off last time.

Maybe if it wasn't so late, that wouldn't seem so daunting.

Thanks.
