Softkey for Turning Off Screen

How can I remap one of the home screen softkeys to manually turn off the display?

this program is good but it doesn't allow you to map anything that turns off the display. it only allows you to map to a program.

Any other ideas?

Re: Softkey for Turning Off Screen

you could map it to xda shutdown(shutoff?) but then that would still be a two button solution...

op, use this. its mapped to longpress powerbutton and you have 3 options/poweroff/softreset/screenoff.

darren, do you know where ShutXP installs itself? Do you know the name/path of the EXE?
Medium Hill's ROM uses it, but I'd like to map it to a quick link...
