WiFiSharing with Mac
 

Im trying to use htc wifi router to share internet with my mac. The only problem is it only connects as computer to computer and never passes internet through. Is there settings on the mac i have to change? Any help would be great thanks.

I use wifi router on my mac and it works fine. I'm running Mighty's Impact ROM and an Intel MacBook Pro. What ROM are you running?

WiFi Router is an ah-hoc network....when working correctly, it SHOULD look like are connected to a shared device (meaning it might have a little computer looking icon in your airport menu). (it will be below the list of currently availiable wireless networks, under the divider line, in the same section where you would see a PRINT SERVER.

Im running powerbook g4 with 10.4.11 and rom is stock verizon with stealth internet sharing. I have used it with my pc's no problem so i know its set up right. It does show the little computer in my airport at the top and i click that check wifisharing enter wep it says im connected but never get internet.

I have managed to get usb internet sharing to work great just would be way more convienent to use wifi.

Why dont you try WMWifiRouter.

That one works great....especially version 0.91 (the last free version)

do you have a link by chance maybe even a cab? i was using htc wifi router so i figured they all worked the same.
