HTC Touch Pro2 Unlocker
 

Does any1 have the unlocker/Hard SPL for Touch Pro 2? The one linked here does not allow me to unlock more than 2 TP2's. any help will greatly be appreciated.

my understanding is that u are going to have to pay a fee or what they like to call it now "donation" to be able to unlock more than 1 pro2

If you need to unlock multiple phones, you have to pay licensing fee per phone. This is to prevent people from making a profit on the developers hard work without them getting anything.

If you only need to unlock an extra phone for personal use you can email them and they can give you an extra license or 2 for free.

Thanks for the reply. I totally understand that I have to pay. I have donated the money and have emailed them to see what they can do to set me up for unlocks. I have no problem paying them. I am ready to pay but I have not gotten any response from them. Any ideas?

I am a noob... what do you get for unlocking your phone? Having a Touch Pro 2 from Sprint? Can you do more? Add more? or just change from one carrier to another?

you can flash to the various custom ROMs that are floating around when you unlock your device's radio. and yes, most custom ROMs out there lets you do more customizing and add more stuff that you can't do on the stock sprint. i.e. if you're looking to run 6.5 on your phone, since sprint has not released it for tp2 yet, most of the custom roms you can flash to already runs on 6.5. you can add a lot more eye candy for your phone.

I had one tp2,(demo unit from VZW), unlocked it the day the unlocker was released, was great. when my 15 day trial period was up, I relocked it and sent phone back to VZW, few months later I got two sprint tp2's, went to unlock those, but the unlocking routine remembered my IP address and would not let me. I clicked a button to donate to unlock, and unlocked one tp2, repeat for the second. I now have two unlocked TP2's. It was pretty painless and instant as I recall.
