Little remote desktop mobile question

I got it working but everytime I log in from my tp2 it sends me to the login screen on my host pc and vice versa. Is there anyway to have both screens up at the same time and logged on ..??

Unless you run a server OS, this is the way it works.

Look around the internet for hacks to allow multiple RDP sessions. The fact that XP, Vista, and Win7 only allow one connection and use the console is what is causing your experience.

You need to be connected to your wireless home network or connected to your house through a VPN.

They you just enter the IP address or host name of your desktop PC in the remote desktop application (if you do not have -search).

Make sure you have remote desktop enabled on your PC. Right click on MY computer -- Select Properties -- Go to the Remote tab and enable it.

Best of luck...

Do you mean how to do it or how does it work as a process?

Since everyone answered how to do it I'll explain it as a process.

If you noticed in windows, you can select to log off a user and log on another user or swap users while retaining state. Also when clicking ctrl+shift+esc (shortcut for task manager) you can see the active users and can switch to them. Aka you can work on your PC from touch pro2 till you get home and resume what you did when you get home. It is a form of virtualization.

edit=
Computer=the name of your pc(if on same network) or ip address or hostname
domain=usually blank
username=the user you want to log in with
password=the password to that user

It is often suggested to have a special user for RDP with limited rights
