Flashing Cricket HTC Touch Pro 2 back to Sprint

Hi everyone,

So I've searched the forum and have only seen the thread for the touch pro, and not the touch pro 2. I want to get my HTC touch pro 2 phone back on the sprint network after having it flashed to cricket. I've installed the original stock rom and the relocker, but it is still not working. Does the order matter? I also tried to update my profile and it goes to a screen that says ERROR CODE 1022.

I think it is still ont eh cricket network since I can't even dial sprint customer service. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Did you load the sprint prl? dial *228 or 611 and if it takes you to the cricket customer service, well, it is still under the cricket network and you'd have to get the appropriate prl file.

Hope it helps.

Yes, it is still under the cricket network. How do I go about getting the appropriate SPRINT PRL? Thank you in advance!

I'm not sure if this will solve your issue, but if you're looking to update the Sprint PRL, check out this thread:

I'm hoping this will work. If anyone has any idea how to return the phone back to the cricket network, please help. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Thank you!

Ok, I don't think that worked. Help! Should I just take it to an unauthorized dealer for them to do it. Is that possible?

Try flashing a Shipped Sprint ROM and allow customization to Run. That will get you going in the right path. You might need the EPST setting though.

Flashing to cricket is simple and king auther and others even have custom ROMs preconfigured for cricket. To get a basic idea of what needs to be done look through any of the tutorials in my signature. Some things like unlockers, ROMS, etc are device specific. But the theory is the same.

Re: Flashing Cricket HTC Touch Pro 2 back to Sprint

Thank you Whitey. So I dled the stock ROM onto my phone. I'm thinking, Maybe I relocked my phone before dling it and f'ed it up. Should I just unlock my phone again and then start the process over? It is still under the Cricket carrier. If I take it to a wireless shop, could they just reactivate it under sprint? Thank you in advance.
